O’Romeo: In-House Review

Our in-house critic awarded the film a respectable 3 out of 5 stars, with a portion of the review stating: “O’ Romeo isn’t a bad film nor a masterpiece. It has a lot of loose ends and unexplained connections. Due to this, it becomes difficult to join dots and feel characters and their purposes. With excellent performances, and Vishal’s ability to tell a fairly engaging story for 3 hours, O’ Romeo can be watched with loved ones and parents, only if violence, abuses and bloodshed are palatable.”

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, O’Romeo is reportedly inspired by Mafia Queens of Mumbai and stars Shahid Kapoor as Ustara, with Triptii Dimri playing Afshan. The film features an ensemble supporting cast, including Disha Patani, Vikrant Massey, Farida Jalal, Hussain Dalal, Nana Patekar, Tamannaah Bhatia and Avinash Tiwary, adding depth and star power to the narrative.
