Punjabi actress and singer Himanshi Khurana, who gained nationwide fame after appearing on Bigg Boss 13, has reportedly received a shocking ₹10 crore ransom threat. The actress has filed a formal complaint with the Mohali police after receiving threatening messages from an alleged gangster living abroad. According to reports, the threat was sent to her via email, prompting immediate legal action. Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and launched an investigation into the matter.

Based on Himanshi Khurana’s complaint, Mohali police registered an FIR at the Sohana police station on Saturday. The case has been filed under extortion and criminal intimidation provisions of Indian law. As per officials, the threatening email included a voice note allegedly sent by gangster Zeeshan Akhtar, who is believed to be operating from outside India. The voice message reportedly demanded a ransom of ₹10 crore from the actress.

Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Saurabh Jindal confirmed the development and stated that authorities are taking the threat seriously. Police are currently working to trace the origin of the email and identify those responsible. Officials have assured that strict legal action will be taken against the accused as per the law. Police teams have begun technical and cyber investigations to locate the sender of the threatening email and voice note.

Authorities are examining digital evidence, including email headers and voice recordings, to identify the source. Law enforcement agencies are also coordinating with cybercrime units and other departments to ensure the safety of the actress and bring the culprits to justice.
