While now he has been denied bail by Hamilton County Criminal Court Judge Tori Smith, his case has taken a turn with a new legal scandal.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"4\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Darron Lee\u2019s late girlfriend\u2019s family sues him as he faces a <keyword id=\"33149549\" type=\"General\" weightage=\"20\" keywordseo=\"first-degree-murder\" source=\"keywords\">first degree murder<\/keyword> charge<br \/><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>A few hours ago, Darron Lee\u2019s girlfriend\u2019s parents have sued him for a whopping $50 million and has strictly filed a lawsuit for him to not profit from the brutal death in any manner.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"9\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"11\"\/>As per 10 WBNS, Darron Lee\u2019s girlfriend, Gabriella Carvalho Perp\u00e9tuo\u2019s parents are seeking for $50 million for compensatory and punitive damages.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>The young woman\u2019s family has also demanded that the former New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs\u2019 player, Darron Lee, cover his late girlfriend, Gabriella Carvalho Perp\u00e9tuo\u2019s funeral expenses.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/>At this point in time, neither Darron Lee nor his legal team has responded to the scandalous lawsuit yet as his next hear is scheduled to be next month, on 9th March.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/>Currently, it is not publicly confirmed how long Darron Lee and his late girlfriend, Gabriella Carvalho Perp\u00e9tuo, dated before she was found allegedly brutally murdered at their Tennessee home.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/>Interestingly, both of them had taken the home on rent just 10 days ago before she was found dead.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>What allegedly happened between Darron Lee and his girlfriend?<br \/><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>For the unversed, on 5th February, first responders visited their home in Chattanooga suburb of Ooltewah for a call of CPR in progress.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"26\"\/>Unfortunately, the first responders found the women to be deceased as Darron Lee explained that Gabriella Carvalho Perp\u00e9tuo slipped in the shower, which caused her injuries.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"28\"\/>However, as per investigators, Gabriella Carvalho Perp\u00e9tuo\u2019s body carried multiple brutal bruises, including a bite mark on her thigh, a large bruise on her head and even a stab wound to her stomach.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/>Reportedly, blood was also found everywhere in the house and this led to the former NFL player, Darron Lee, being quickly arrested.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"32\"\/>Currently, Darron Lee is in police custody as he faces serious charges of first degree murder as many ask for a death penalty.<span
