<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\nJAMMU: J&K lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday launched \u201cNasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan\u201d, a 100-day campaign to rid the UT of the drug menace by throttling the supply of contraband from Pakistan and ensuring exemplary punishment for narcotics traffickers.\u201cThe administration is committed to effectively tackling this social evil and safeguarding the youth across the UT,\u201d said Sinha before launching the campaign with a foot march from Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu.\u201cOur neighbour (Pakistan) is using cross-border smuggling to poison our communities and undermine our nation\u2019s future. Every officer has one obligation: this must stop. The full force of the law is now directed at smugglers. Their networks will be dismantled without delay,\u201d he said.\u201cUnder a new SOP, drug traffickers\u2019 passports, driving licences, Aadhaar numbers, and arms licences will be revoked. Their assets will be attached and their bank accounts frozen. Lookout circulars will be issued against drug peddlers. Punishment will be swift. The crackdown will echo through generations,\u201d the LG said.Sinha said the next three months are pivotal, with the campaign advancing in six clear phases: intensive awareness drives, youth-focused events, community engagement, strict enforcement, rehabilitation, and evaluation.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
