The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently probing the case after the Supreme Court transferred the investigation from a special investigation team (SIT) set up by the Madras high court.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>The Tamil superstar, popularly known as \u201cThalapathy\u201d (leader), launched TVK in February 2024. The party made its electoral debut in the Puducherry Assembly election on Thursday, contesting 28 of the 30 seats and allotting two constituencies to its ally, Neyam Makkal Kazhagam.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/>However, its primary focus remains Tamil Nadu, where the party is contesting all 234 seats.
