Sidharth Malhotra on Fatherhood After Baby Girl’s Arrival
Kiara and Sidharth welcomed a baby girl on July 15, 2025. When Sidharth, who was promoting his film, Param Sundari, appeared on Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, he spoke about how life changed after their daughter’s arrival. He said his schedule shifted, sleep patterns altered, and they now live on night shifts together as devoted parents adjusting daily routines happily always with love and new responsibilities.
“Arey pura schedule change ho gaya, abhi main waheen se aa raha hoon subeh subeh. Chahe woh khaane peene ka dhyaan ho, unke sleeping pattern ho, aaj kal raat ko late nights chal rahi hai par alag kisam ki! Teen chaar baje feeding ho raha.”
Speaking about supporting his wife Kiara in raising their daughter, Sidharth said he has been more of a background presence, joking that he plays a supporting actor’s role, mostly standing aside and simply watching the two of them together closely. “Main toh abhi supporting actor play kar raha hoon, jo sirf wahan pe khade hoke dekh raha hai.” When Archana Puran Singh questioned Sidharth if he had changed the diaper, he said: “Kiya hai diaper change, aur bina diaper ka ‘oops moment’ bhi experience kiya hai ab toh.”
