According to him, that version is historic and still considered the gold standard. He stated that if Ramayana manages to match that emotional depth and authenticity, it could become a record-breaking success. But failing to do so may lead to disappointment. The actor also issued a clear warning to the filmmakers. He said that audiences may reject the film if it strays too far from the original narrative or alters character portrayals significantly.

Referring to the teaser, he pointed out that some characters appeared overly aggressive or demonic, adding that such deviations might not sit well with viewers who are emotionally connected to the traditional depiction of the epic. With its massive scale, star power, and cultural significance, Ramayana carries immense expectations. Vindu Dara Singh’s remarks echo a broader sentiment among fans, that while cinematic innovation is welcome, it must respect the essence of the original epic.
