Instagram down: Thousands of users facing problems sending messages – The Times of India

Instagram is reportedly facing a downtime globally with users in the US hit the most. According to Downdetector.com, more than 10,000 Instagram users are facing issues with the app. While in India, around 250 users are impacted right now. The company has not confirmed the outage as of now. But users are sharing their experience with the app on other social media platforms. “Is Instagram down? I can’t reply to my friend,” a user posted on Elon Musk-owned microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter).

According to Downdetector.com, the outage started around 7:40am IST today, March 11. 71% users have reported problems accessing the app, while 20% reported server connection issues. The remaining 5% users complained facing issues with their Instagram feed/timeline.As per the Downdetector outage map, US cities including Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago, Washington, and New York are among those hit with Instagran outage issues.(This is a developing story)
