Six months after Nepal’s Gen-Z uprising on Friday results for the country’s parliamentary polls were announced. Early results 2026 elections show the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) making significant gains in the capital and across the country, securing three parliamentary seats in Kathmandu and leading in more than 110 constituencies nationwide, according to figures cited by The Kathmandu Times.RSP leader Balendra Shah himself is leading from the constituency of Jhapa-5 against former PM KP Sharma Oli by over 10,000 votes.

Here is the complete list of winners: Ranju Neupane won from Kathmandu–1, securing 15,455 votes and defeating her nearest rival by 9,091 votes. Shishir Khanal won from Kathmandu- 6, securing 27,916 voted with a margin of 21,249 votes. Tek Bahadur Gurung won from Manang–1 with 2,415 votes, registering a victory margin of 1,961.In Mustang–1, Yogesh Gauchan Thakali won the seat with 3,307 votes, defeating his rival by 1,501 votes.Vote counting is continuing across multiple constituencies.
