Happy Holi to all of you.” This year’s Holi is particularly special for Akanksha, as her new film is set to release this Wednesday. In an exclusive interaction with one of the media houses, she shared her excitement, revealing that she makes it a point to stay in Mumbai every year for Holi.

According to her, the festival is celebrated here like nowhere else. She added that meeting friends and colleagues during Holi makes it even more memorable, and with her film releasing soon, the celebrations feel extra lucky. Recalling her childhood memories, Akanksha fondly spoke about playing Holi in the streets of Indore, enjoying jalebi, poha, and samosas, and playfully throwing friends into water tanks. She admitted that those simple, carefree moments still hold a special place in her heart and sometimes make her wish she could relive her childhood days.

Popular TV actress Adrija Roy, known for her role in Anupamaa, also joined the Holi bash at JVPD Ground. She mentioned that although she misses celebrating Holi in her hometown, she has been enjoying the Mumbai festivities for the past four years. Actor Aman Gandhi shared that Holi is his favorite festival. He said the excitement begins a day before, and for him, the joy of Holi lies as much in festive food like gujiya as in playing with colors, though he prefers to avoid bhang.

Adding musical energy to the celebration was award-winning DJ DJ Shahdo, who flew in from Dubai specially to celebrate Holi in Mumbai. He said the festival beautifully connects him with music and is celebrated with all heart and passion. With colors flying, reels going viral, and stars soaking in the festive spirit, Juhu’s Holi bash has truly set the tone for a glamorous celebration this year.
