Yami, who is married to Aditya Dhar, had earlier expressed regret about not being part of such a powerful project. However, reports suggest she will appear in a cameo in the sequel, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, set to release on March 19, 2026. Sharing her reaction, Raveena said she jokingly apologized to Yami, telling her that she had become her husband’s biggest fan. Raveena compared Dhurandhar to blockbuster spectacles like Pushpa: The Rise and KGF: Chapter 1, stating that such films restore the audience’s faith in grand cinematic storytelling. According to her, these films make the hero look like a true hero again, tackling national issues, confronting larger threats, and embodying strength on screen. She also heaped praise on the ensemble cast, including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, and other performers, calling Aditya Dhar a genius beyond the word mind-blowing.

Interestingly, when told that Ranveer Singh considers himself her biggest fan, Raveena grew nostalgic. She recalled that he was just 10 years old when he came to watch her iconic performance in the song Tip Tip Barsa Paani from the film Mohra. The makers of Dhurandhar have described the film as being inspired by true events. The storyline revolves around Lyari in neighboring Pakistan and a covert Indian mission dubbed “Operation Lyari” aimed at dismantling criminal networks.
