FIR Filed Against Udit Narayan by First Wife Ranjana Narayan Over Serious Allegations of Getting Her Uterus Removed – Woman’s era Magazine


Bollywood’s legendary playback singer Udit Narayan has landed in legal trouble after his first wife, Ranjana Narayan, filed an FIR against him and several family members. The complaint was lodged on February 10 at the women’s police station, raising serious allegations against the singer, his brothers, and his second wife. According to reports, Ranjana Narayan has accused Udit Narayan, his brothers Sanjay Kumar Jha and Lalit Narayan Jha, and his second wife Deepa Narayan of being involved in a shocking medical incident.

Ranjana claims that in 1996, she was taken to a hospital in Delhi by Udit Narayan and his brothers, where her uterus was allegedly removed without her knowledge or consent. She further alleged that Deepa Narayan was present at the time. The complaint states that she was unaware of the procedure being carried out and only later realized what had happened.

Ranjana Narayan, a resident of Bihar’s Supaul district and daughter of Chandrakant Jha, stated in her complaint that she married Udit Narayan on December 7, 1984, according to Hindu rituals. She claimed that after their marriage, Udit moved to Mumbai to pursue his singing career. During that period, she allegedly learned that he had remarried Deepa Narayan.

In her statement, Ranjana further alleged that when she came to Mumbai in 2006, she was abused and denied entry into Udit Narayan’s home by him and his second wife. She then reportedly went to her in-laws’ house in Nepal but claimed she was turned away from there as well. Since then, she says she has been living at her parental home. As of now, there has been no official public statement from Udit Narayan or his legal team regarding the allegations.

With an FIR now registered, authorities are expected to examine the claims and gather evidence as part of the investigation process. Given the serious nature of the allegations, the case is likely to draw significant public and media attention in the coming days.
