Traffic jam in the jungle: Viral video shows tiger surrounded by vehicles at Ranthambore National Park | Jaipur News – The Times of India
JAIPUR: A video from Rajasthan’s Ranthambore National Park has gone viral, showing a tiger surrounded by several safari vehicles. The video, shared by Instagram user Monty Bhatt, shows many jeeps crowding a narrow road while the tiger stands in the middle with very little space to move. More vehicles arrive, making the situation look like a traffic jam. Tourists can be seen taking photos as the tiger pauses, appearing confused. In the caption, the Instagram user wrote, “The tiger came very close and the jeeps didn’t give the space to the Tiger in Ranthambore National Park.” The clip has triggered widespread criticism on social media. Many users expressed discomfort over the way the animal was surrounded, calling it stressful and unfair. Some pointed out that such crowding can raise stress levels in animals and may even lead to defensive behaviour. “The tiger looks more civilised and mature among all these humans around,” one user wrote.“The Indian forest department deserves praise for its efficient management of safari operations in India. The tiger seems to be facing a traffic jam in its own home,” another user said. “Sad. Where’s the wild in this? It’s worse than a zoo! At least humans can’t enter its enclosure there,” wrote another user. The incident has once again highlighted the need for better management of safari operations to protect wildlife and maintain safe distances during sightings.
